The Eriksen Premises was built in the late 1800's as a general
store and tea room. It has since been restored to its original elegance and
character.
A
Merchant's Residence
This early 18th century
Bed and Breakfast is a must see for any history enthusiasts visiting the
Trinity area. While evoking the charm and ambience of the Victorian era,
this 2 story, Mansard style treasure contains all the leisure required to
make your holiday most memorable. Each of the 7 rooms offer unique
surroundings while providing the comforts of home. Relax in the Bay Window
room with its serene view of Trinity Harbour or unwind in the comforting
waters of a Jacuzzi in the Master suite. The Common Room is a great place
to gather with friends and family to share the day’s experiences when
exploring the Trinity Bight. While striving to provide a pleasurable dining
experience, the Eriksen Premises
has been designated by the national publication, “Where to Eat in Canada”
four years for its fine cuisine and service. The beautifully decorated Fine
Dining room will delight your senses in more ways than one. Revel in the
sounds of Chopin while savouring the scallops in white wine sauce or the
delectable bakeapple cheesecake. Very experienced in catering to large
groups, the staff will gladly accommodate any special occasion. Visit
Polly’s Pantry to discover some Old World charm. This section retains the
original flooring, counters and shelving of an old general store while
offering modern conveniences. Discover what a cash register looked like
before the invention of electricity or catch a glimpse of one of the first
electric ice boxes. You may fine the souvenir you’ve been looking for in
its Gift Shop or delight in the frozen concoctions of its Ice Cream
Parlour. Whatever your pleasure while visiting the Trinity Bight, you’ll be
sure to find it and more at the Eriksen Premises!
